Growing up with learning disabilities, I found that I’ve had to learn what my strengths and weaknesses are do my best to work on my weaknesses and improve. One of my biggest weaknesses as a student was test-taking, especially when it came to a subject that I had little interest in or something that I had to put a lot of effort into doing. Because of this it took me until I was 27 years old to finally get my driver’s license for the first time, despite living in North Carolina for seven years at this point. It was something that I had put off for such a long time until I had finally practiced enough and even after taking the road test three different times. What were your experiences with learning to drive and driving in general? If you do not currently drive, do you want to or do you not feel comfortable? Let us know!
